We’re just days away from Hack4Health, a four-week innovation sprint empowering high school students to design AI-driven solutions for Alzheimer’s disease. This isn’t your typical hackathon—it’s a deep-dive into real-world computational research, guided by mentors from academia and industry.
At Hack4Health, students don’t just build projects—they become researchers, innovators, and future scientists.Over the next month, participants will join small mentor-led pods, explore beginner-friendly AI and healthcare datasets, and learn to prototype technologies with real-world potential.
Why You Should Be Excited
1. Research-First, Impact-Driven.Hack4Health gives students a pathway into computational research—from data collection to hypothesis testing to publication. We’ll cover the same process used by university labs, helping participants gain tangible research experience before college.
2. Mentorship That Matters. Our mentors include graduate researchers, engineers, and ISEF finalists who know what it takes to go from a raw idea to a research-backed prototype. Many past participants have gone on to publish papers, win ISEF-affiliated fairs, and even start long-term research collaborations.
3. A Boost for College Applications.Admissions officers love to see students take initiative—and Hack4Health gives you exactly that. You’ll walk away with a project portfolio, recommendation opportunities, and a story that shows curiosity, leadership, and real-world problem-solving.
4. Leadership & Marketing Opportunities.Beyond the hackathon, Hack4Health offers student leadership and marketing intern roles—a chance to join our organizing team, build campaigns, and gain experience in outreach and community building. Participants can also earn letters of recommendation for outstanding contributions.
5. From Data to Discovery.Whether you’re analyzing speech patterns for early Alzheimer’s detection, building AI image classifiers, or exploring wearable health data, Hack4Health will equip you with the tools to turn data into meaningful insight.
The Future Starts Here
Hack4Health isn’t just an event—it’s a launchpad. We’re building a community of high schoolers who want to make a difference through technology and science, democratizing access to research and innovation.
If you’re ready to go from curious to capable, from learner to leader—this is where your journey begins.
